Sarah Brodacz has been working at CHE since May 2024. Her responsibilities include providing administrative support to Sigrun Nickel, Nicolas Reum and Anna-Lena Thiele in the Higher Education Research team, project support for initiatives such as TransForm, HRK Modus and Studying without a school-leaving certificate (Studieren ohne Abitur), as well as proofreading work. Since October 2024, she has also been supporting the Teacher Education Monitor (Monitor Lehrkräftebildung) as a project assistant.
Before joining CHE, Sarah Brodacz worked as a qualified interpreter and translator. She was initially employed at a translation agency in Leipzig before becoming self-employed full-time as a freelance interpreter and translator working with English, French and German.
She studied interpreting in English and French at the Institute for Applied Linguistics and Translation Studies (IALT) at Leipzig University and graduated with a Diplom as an interpreter.
