Since 2025, Natalya Sharovatova has been working as a project manager at CHE. She is responsible for HEInnovate, a joint project of the European Commission and the OECD. In this role, she supports higher education institutions in Europe and worldwide that stand out through entrepreneurial and innovative teaching, internationalisation, and cooperation with external stakeholders. She coordinates the development of case studies and experience reports produced in collaboration with the HEInnovate expert group and contributes them to the project’s resource library.

She earned a master’s degree in Research and Innovation in Higher Education, specialising in Leadership and Management of Higher Education, at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences.

In addition, she works on the F.A.I.T.H. project, which supports 15 Ethiopian universities in their transformation into Universities of Applied Sciences. There, she helps develop practice-oriented methods and models, researches European best practices, and supports training programmes that promote applied teaching and cooperation with industry.
