Dr. Sonja Berghoff is head of the national ranking and has been with CHE since 2000. Within the CHE University Ranking she is responsible for the coordination of the sub-projects, the survey of the faculties and bibliometrics. She is also involved in projects involving statistical analyses based on data from the university ranking or other sources.
Before joining CHE, she was part of the management team of the Collaborative Research Centre ‘Complexity Reduction in Multivariate Data Structures’. In addition to the CHE University Ranking, she supported the University Alliance Ruhr from June 2015 to May 2016 in the coordination office of the profile focus ‘Materials Chain’.
She completed her doctorate in statistics at the University of Dortmund.
