Dr Sonja Berghoff is Head of the National Ranking and has been working at CHE since 2000. Within the CHE University Ranking, she is responsible for coordinating the sub-projects, surveying academic departments, and bibliometrics. She also contributes to projects that involve statistical analyses based on data from the CHE University Ranking and other sources.
Before joining CHE, she was part of the management team of the Collaborative Research Centre (Sonderforschungsbereich) “Complexity Reduction in Multivariate Data Structures”. In addition to her work on the CHE University Ranking, she supported the University Alliance Ruhr from June 2015 to May 2016 in the coordination office of the profile area “Materials Chain”.
She earned her PhD in Statistics at the University of Dortmund.
