Dr Nicolas Reum is a Senior Project Manager in the Higher Education Research unit at CHE, focusing on permeability between academic and vocational education. In this role, he works at the interface of research and practice to analyse and shape educational pathways and transitions between vocational and higher education. He also focuses on knowledge transfer between higher education research and higher education management.
Dr Reum has been working at CHE since February 2019. Prior to joining CHE, he worked as a research associate responsible for research, teaching and study administration at the Institute of Economic and Social Geography at the University of Cologne.
He studied Economic and Cultural Geography at the University of Hanover and graduated as a Diplom-Geograph. He then completed a doctoral programme in Economic and Social Sciences at the University of Cologne on companies’ qualification practices in different regional contexts.
