Janna Friedel has been working at CHE as an Advisor to the Executive Management (Referentin der Geschäftsführung) since 2024. In this role, she supports the senior leadership team with organisational and strategic tasks. She is also the project manager for the “Higher Education Manager of the Year” project.
Previously, she held various positions in the higher education sector. At Friedrich Schiller University Jena, she worked as an ECTS coordinator in the International Office and later headed the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science’s Study and Examination Office. She also worked as a research associate and programme coordinator at the Chair of Intercultural Communication and Business at Justus Liebig University Giessen.
Janna Friedel completed a bachelor’s degree in Culture and Business at the University of Mannheim and subsequently earned a Master of Arts in Intercultural Communication and European Studies at Fulda University of Applied Sciences.
