Jan Thiemann is the press spokesperson and a member of the Communications and Public Relations team at CHE. He is responsible for CHE’s strategic communications and public relations.
Jan Thiemann has been working at CHE since 2013. Before joining CHE, he worked as a freelance journalist for the RBB TV magazine “zibb” and spent five years as the managing editor of the nationwide campus magazine UNICUM as well as the magazine UNIKING. He studied Film and Television Studies, Theatre Studies and German Studies at Ruhr University Bochum and Utrecht University (Rijksuniversiteit Utrecht), graduating with a Magister degree. He then completed the journalism traineeship programme “Praxis 4”, specialising in business and consumer journalism, including placements at Stiftung Warentest, FINANZtest, Antenne Brandenburg and RBB television.
