Sara Carina Richau works as a Communications Manager and press officer together with Jan Thiemann in CHE’s Press and Public Relations team. Her main responsibilities include digital communications, overseeing CHE’s social media activities and website. She coordinates the publication of reports and other publications as well as the related press work. In addition, she contributes content-wise to projects on resilience and societal challenges in higher education.
Before joining CHE in 2024, she worked as a press and public relations officer for the Junge Union NRW in Düsseldorf. In her personal time, she continues to volunteer with the CDU and the Junge Union, including as a member of the Federal Commission on Education & Research.
Sara Richau completed a bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Communications Management at the International School of Management in Dortmund and subsequently earned a master’s degree in Political and Corporate Communication at the University of Navarra in Pamplona, Spain.
